How frequently should I be working with my trainer?

Your workload depends upon your current fitness level, your ultimate goal, and your ability to follow your “active rest” program when you are not with your trainer. NYPT clients average 3 sessions per week with their trainer.

How long will it take to reach my goal?

It depends upon your goal. NYPT offers 3, 6, and 12 month training packages, which allows us to accommodate every client.

Do you offer nutrition counseling?

Every NYPT client is enrolled in our GeoMetrics nutrition program. GeoMetrics is included in your NYPT package.

Can I train with a friend?

Yes. NYPT offers Tag Team training. You and your partner will train together with your trainer. The sessions are fun because you have friendly competition and support. Tag Team training is cost effective…just add $25 per session to the regular hourly rate.

Do you offer personal training for the budget conscious fitness enthusiast?

Yes. NYPT offers Semi-Private training. Each session is limited to 3 people. Once you join you will have access to our on line scheduling matrix. Sign up wherever you see an opening. Session price averages $50.

How do I choose which trainer I want to work with?

You can view the trainer profiles and videos on the NYPT website. Beyond that, we urge you to trust your NYPT client liaison. We are your Personal Fitness Experts. We take all of your wants and needs into consideration when matching you with your trainer.

Do you guarantee that I will get results?

Much of your training depends upon you. Therefore we offer this guarantee:“If you attend all of your scheduled training sessions, and follow your Active Rest program, and stick to your nutrition program, and your fitness level does not improve, we will train you for free until it does.”

How do I know if Physical Therapy is for me?

Will my insurance cover Physical Therapy? If not, is it affordable?

We accept a wide variety of private insurance plans, and offer generous payment plans for cash patients and patients with high deductibles. We strongly believe that no patient should feel that that they have to compromise their well being because of a financial situation.
